Eligibility Criteria for STEM scholarship


The scholarship program targets high-achieving students from developing and emerging countries who aspire to pursue a Master's degree in STEM fields at a German university. Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline. You are eligible to apply if you have completed your first degree, recognized in Germany (e.g., a Bachelor’s degree), by the application deadline. 


Eligibility criteria include:


  • A strong academic record with above-average grades.

  • Proficiency in German or English, depending on the program’s language of instruction.

  • Degree obtained within the last six years before the application deadline.

  • A compelling study or research plan that aligns with your academic and professional goals.

  • Proof of acceptance or conditional acceptance into a German university or research institution.

Applicants with an existing Master's degree are ineligible to apply.
