Easy Access in the 'Updates' Tab
For users eager to explore these newly introduced WhatsApp Channels, locating them is simple. You can easily find them in the 'Updates' tab of your WhatsApp app.
This move is expected to bring a fresh and engaging dimension to the WhatsApp experience, connecting users with a more diverse range of content and creators.
Creating Your WhatsApp Channel
It’s initially not available to everyone, you may be added to ‘’Wishlist’’ so that later you can get access on priority. However, for those who have access can follow the following steps to create their channel and stay connected with your followers:
Ensure You Have a WhatsApp Account: To begin, make sure you have a WhatsApp account. If you don't already have one, you can learn how to create one here.
Access Channels via WhatsApp Business App: You can also manage your channel through the WhatsApp Business app. Download Whatsapp from your play store and add your number and create a whatsapp account.
Keep Your WhatsApp Updated: It's essential to have the latest version of WhatsApp to enjoy all the features and security enhancements. Therefore, click the update option so that you can access the latest version.
Enhance Security with Two-Step Verification: For added security, enable two-step verification not only for the WhatsApp account creating the channel but also for the accounts of any administrators you plan to have.
Creating Your WhatsApp Channel
Open WhatsApp Web: Access WhatsApp Web and navigate to Channels by clicking the Channels icon.
Start Creating: Click on the "> Create channel" option.
Follow the Prompts: Continue by clicking "Continue" and follow the onscreen instructions.
Name Your Channel: Add a name to your channel to complete the creation process. Remember, you can always change the name later if needed.
Customize Your Channel (Optional): At this point, you can choose to customize your channel by adding a description and an icon, or you can do it later.
Add a Channel Description: Write a brief description to let potential followers know what your channel is all about.

To share a link to your channel, follow these steps:
- Access Your Channel Info Page
- Open Channels by clicking the Channels icon.
- Click on your channel, then click your channel name.
- Copy the Link: Click "Copy link" to easily share it with your audience
